Old Leather is a beautifuuly distinguished leather that exhibits a unique depth of color and elegance. This exceptional leather is oak tanned then colored with hand sponged vegetable dyes. Originating in the Frascati wine country near Rome, this is a centuries old method of producing the world's richest, longest lasting leather.
Tribeca embodies the Bosca lifestyle: warm and welcoming, active yet relaxed, modern while still speaking to tradition. The raw material and tanning are American, and natural astringents are added to the leather to give it a pebbled appearance. While we at Bosca often opt for vegetable-tanned leathers, for Tribeca we selected a chrome process to imbue the leather with a plump, buttery softness that makes it nearly impossible to pull your hands away. More than simply beautiful, every detail has been addressed in the design of Tribeca: brushed nickel hardware, leather-tipped organization pockets, nylon lining and shoulder straps, and rubber feet all ensure decades of durable use. Spanning the range of small personal leather goods to business and messenger bags, Tribeca is more than a collection, it’s a way of life.

Carefully selected full grain leathers - hand stained and glazed cognacs, rich oil tanned browns, and soft napa blacks – are crafted into elegant personal leather goods and business accessories that you can carry with pride and pleasure.
Hand stained and glazed cognac leathers are aniline dyed and finished in a medium brown with soft ochre tones. Natural markings of the hide are testimony to the full grain strength and quality of the leather which is polished to deep sheen.
Dark brown oil tanned leathers have a waxy finish. They developed a unique patina of their own with use, looking even richer over time.
Supple black napa leather is aniline dyed and skived, or thinned, to make elegant personal leather goods such as passcase wallets and travel document cases. Leather is used to line the bill compartments.
Firenze business cases and accessories include traditional attaches, brief bags, wheeled computer cases, letter pad holders, formal flapover briefs and soft computer and portfolio cases.
