Originating in the Frascati wine country near Rome, this is a centuries old method of producing the world's richest, longest lasting leather.

Correspondent Leather a casual yet distinctive leather. Correspondent leather gets its unique, soft, pebbled hand and texture from hours of tumbling in oak drums. This leather develops a beautiful patina after a few weeks of use and becomes even more richly burnished over time. The natural oils of the leather help buff out light marks and scratches.

Carefully selected full grain leathers - hand stained and glazed cognacs, rich oil tanned browns, and soft napa blacks – are crafted into elegant personal leather goods and business accessories that you can carry with pride and pleasure.

Hand stained and glazed cognac leathers are aniline dyed and finished in a medium brown with soft ochre tones. Natural markings of the hide are testimony to the full grain strength and quality of the leather which is polished to deep sheen.

Dark brown oil tanned leathers have a waxy finish. They developed a unique patina of their own with use, looking even richer over time.

Supple black napa leather is aniline dyed and skived, or thinned, to make elegant personal leather goods such as passcase wallets and travel document cases. Leather is used to line the bill compartments.
